Two of Wargaming teams are opening their doors to budding candidates who want to start their journey in gaming.
Our Maintenance team is offering a two-month online course and our Software Engineering team is on the lookout for candidates for their six-month-long paid internship in Vilnius.

Maintenance Online Course
If you’re not familiar with what our Maintenance team does, imagine a house. This house represents all our services and products. The Maintenance team is the fuse box, the boiler, the pipes… basically anything that keeps the house running. And their primary job is making sure no matter when, our other teams can provide our players with the best experience possible. They’re all about keeping the party running 24/7!
The two-month course will cover topics such as the basics of Linux and Kubernetes and give you a base understanding so that you can start a career in our industry. Additionally, those who impress on the course will be offered an internship and a select ones will get the chance to work at Wargaming full-time.

Software Engineering Paid Internship
As an internship, the candidate requirements are a bit more nuanced and involve a slightly deeper understanding of certain software and programming languages, for example. A select few who impress during their internships will be offered the opportunity to work at Wargaming full-time, so it’s a perfect way of kickstarting a career in gaming!
By the end of our internship, candidates should be able to develop features and be responsible for their delivery, set up the monitoring and testing of our services to better understand their real-time health, develop new features according to the requirements alongside business analysts, QA and other teams, and a whole lot more. Plus, it’s a great way to get your foot in the door and gain practical experience while working in a highly skilled team who are eager to share their knowledge!
